The biggest challenge in using geothermal heat for power is deep drilling expenses. To get to the required heat level of 300°C, companies have to drill down to 10,000 m, for running ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) engines for the power production. With our technology, the required heat level (50-100°C) is found in 3000m. As drilling expenses grow exponentially by the depth, it's clear that our technology could be a game-changer in the field.
